Following an upsurge in medical cases in Israel in the past months, Israeli friends of our Association in Germany sponsored the purchase of a large number of portable oxygen concentrators to benefit patients and war victims. These devices enable patients who require continuous use of an oxygen concentrator to leave their homes or fly abroad for medical purposes.
Connected’s Chairman Meir Quinn says: “Our office has been flooded with requests for oxygen concentrators. Acknowledging the grave shortage and the fact that no organization in the country has a sufficient stock of oxygen concentrators to meet the national need, we appealed to our dear friends and overseas partners Dr. Yuval and Devorah Lapid, for help. As always, they stepped up to the plate and assisted us in the purchase of a large stock of oxygen concentrators at a cost of tens of thousands of shekels. This is incredible news for hundreds of patients in Israel who want to retain a normal lifestyle but are dependent on continuous oxygen use.”
We want to express our heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Yuval and Devorah for their steadfast support of Israel’s sick, elderly, and wounded.
