Many patients require expensive medications that are excluded from the Health Ministry’s Medicine Basket and are forced to pay exorbitant sums of money out of pocket, sometimes to the tune of tens of thousands of shekels per month. There are also special medications that are not produced in Israel and need to be transported from abroad.
Connected collaborates with several medical organizations around the world to assist patients in locating specific rare medications, conveying them to Israel and, when necessary, subsidizing costs.
