The first Snoezelen on Wheels which offers a multisensory therapy environment along with advanced technological elements that stimulate a disabled child’s senses and advance his or her physical and emotional development was just inaugurated in Israel! The special portable Snoezlen facility is operated by volunteers who were specially-trained to guide the child during his therapy sessions.
Connected CEO Rabbi Quinn notes that the special portable facility now enables the Association to offer infants this effective therapy both in its Center and during Connected’s seasonal retreats for infants with disabilities and their parents.
Connected’s faculty, volunteers and parents thank the wonderful donors who generously sponsored the construction and design of the Snoezelen Room on Wheels and highlight that it offers a significant boost to the infants’ motor abilities.
