Connected’s 17th Retreat: A Time for Connection and Respite

Connected’s 17th Retreat for disabled infants and their parents took place at the Nof Kinneret Hotel in Teveria from Tuesday, 2 Elul (August 26) through Thursday 4 Elul (August 28). The event brought together over 60 parents and infants with serious disabilities who were supported by an outstanding full medical team, logistics crew that managed every detail of the retreat, and our devoted volunteers. This retreat, held during the Hebrew month of Elul—a time of mercy and forgiveness—marks four years since our first Connected retreat.

As always, the retreat created a safe space for parents and children to connect, discover mutual support, and enjoy hours of peace and respite in the embrace of a warm, loving, and caring professional staff.

Connected is already in the midst of preparing for our 18th Retreat!

Meir Quinn, Chairman of Connected: “Our inbox is flooded with requests from new families. We feel a profound need to provide additional retreats for dozens of couples—parents of infants who are disabled and ventilated.”
