This past Chanukah, the Magic Kass theme park in Ma’ale Adumim transformed into a place of joy and connection for Connected families.
The event—an annual highlight hosted entirely free of charge—brought together Connected’s community since its inception—a total of close to 2,000 guests! For one unforgettable night, families from every chapter of Connected’s history joined our dedicated volunteers for a spectacular Chanukah celebration replete with belonging, radiance and joy.
The most moving moments happened away from the high-speed rides. Throughout the park, veteran volunteers were reunited with children they had first met years ago as infants and toddlers. Seeing a five-year-old run with a beaming smile toward the volunteer who had cared for her as a baby was ultimate testament to the enduring bond that Connected shares with its families. Connected isn’t about a one-time retreat; it’s a lifelong connection.
Between the adrenaline-pumping attractions, participants enjoyed a specially-curated planned program including interactive trivia, a photo booth, and gourmet food stations that kept energy levels high. The evening culminated with a lavish catered dinner that offered parents a rare and much-needed opportunity to sit back, relax, and savor quality time with their children amidst all the excitement.
Connected’s Chairman Meir Quinnexpressed: “My heart is overflows with gratitude to the visionary donors who sponsored this magnificent event and to our incredible volunteers who poured their souls into ensuring that this evening would be the smashing success that it was. You’re the ones who empower us to continue providing our families with the most precious gift of all: moments of pure light, connection, and joy.”
